Tropicana Cards

So I finally let up on the layouts using the Tropicana Collection long enough to make a few cards!!

These are so bright and fun, what great gender neutral cards these are ... male, female, old, young ... you could get away with all using this collection!

I used pages from the small paper pad and a number of the collectable die cuts to make these cards ... oh and that gorgeous little palm frond stamp again ... how cute is it!!?!

These are the very last of the small rectangle cards that I'll be making... Kaisercraft have come out with generous square cards that I have been using just recently to create with, and I'm hooked!

They come in delightful earthy colours, are all made from 240gsm card stock and come 10 to a pack with envelopes for only $3.99RRP.
 I'm sold.
You will definitely be seeing some of those in my future blogs!

Thanks for dropping by for a look,
Cheers from Kel.

Tropicana Layout

Oh How I'm LOVIN this Tropicana Collection .... The colours are stunning! For me its an irresistible love affair... like a bower bird and its OCD for all things blue I suffer the same condition for all things red ... and those beautiful hibiscus blooms [sighs in admiration] are the perfect red non-rose flowers!

This is a pretty straight forward page, I used one of the die cut pages for the back ground and then layered up the tropical flowers.

I dug out that cut little seal stamp from the ones I had hoarded away when the Party Animal Collection was first released ... I find these little characters off-the-charts cute!!

Anyway, thats one more porpoise kiss photo down, only 17 more to go!!

Cheers from Kel.

Sat. Sketch #2 Dec 2012

OK, so i just can't stay away from the Tropicana Collection at the moment .. I did manage to do a page without a hibiscus on it though ... I was sorely tempted to pop one in there, but I resisted for the sake of art! LOL

This Saturday sketch was awesome, it was really simple and left lots of room for interpretation!

I love the shell background paper, it must be my favourite from all the papers in this collection, so expect to it see it more often in here! I also have a pile of photos just like this for all my kids ... kisses with dolphins and porpoises  so settle in folks for a constant parade of these photos using this collection ... now that I have a sea themed paper range in my hot little hands I'm not letting the opportunity pass me by for plowing through these gorgeous photos! LOL

Thanks for looking.
Cheers from Kelly-ann.

Sat. Sketch #1 Dec 2012

This Saturday sketch was a real challenge for me ... I'm used to using one, maybe two or three photos on a page, so when I saw 7 on there I really did take a moment! LOL

I may not have 7 photos I can get on a page at once, but I did have these 4 beautiful, but slightly dark photos of my girls that I had been wondering what to do with for a while. I decided that this format was probably the best for getting them all in and it worked wonderfully.

I have used the new Tropicana Collection on this page as I'm love with those giant beautiful hibiscus flowers ( I'm talking about a serious crush here!!). I made the border using a palm frond stamp that comes in the stamp set for this collection... it's just gorgeous and once again has captured my attention by being just that bit different from the usual rose leaf stamps that abound these days!

Thanks for dropping by for a look...
