Sweet Pea Cards

Hello, back today to share some cards made using the new Sweet Pea Collection.

This is an odd retro collection full of strange and random images... especially highly patterned animal silhouettes ... to look at it was bizar at first, but to work with I found it bright and fun.

There are loads of flowers and such to choose from as well so the whole collection really is an exorcise in take what you like  and leave the rest ... it will definitely be one people either love or hate! LOL

As for me, I would not usually be drawn to this kind of collection, but after working with it a bit I have decided I like it and I like these cards that I made in the end also ... just something a bit different... which is a good challenge to get into every now and then!

Thanks for stopping by for a look.
Cheers from Kelly-ann.

Porcelain Rose Cards

Hi all.... I'm back today with just a couple of cards from the Porcelain Rose Collection.

I'm still bumping along with my 'Love' theme here as I really need more cards for weddings/engagement etc as well as Romantic ones.
Birthday ones come easy, but this kind are bit less common!

Anyway, as always I kept them quite simple but I'm still really enjoying working with these papers. I love all the soft pinks, and the collectables pack have  heaps of frames and journaling squares in it that are perfect for layering things up like on the card below.

Layering has certainly come into it's own element in the last few years and I must confess I could probably do with some more instruction on the technique myself.

The Brisbane Paper Craft Expo is coming up soon, I might book myself into a class or two there to gain some more experience in this area! LOL

Have a great day, Smiles from Kel.

On This Day Cards

Just popping in Quickly today to share a couple of cards I've made using the On This Day Collection.

There's nothing fancy going on here folks, just quick easy cards!

I used papers from the paper pad and the coordinating collectable die cut pack... a few Rhinestones and pearls latter and there you have it.

I love the arty side of scrapbooking, but sometime you just have to get stuff done! LOL

Thanks for stopping by for a look.
Cheers from Kel.

Needle and Thread Cards

Hi There, I'm back today with more from the Needle and Thread Collection.

This time I have made some feminine birthday cards ... and what a fun collection this has turned out to be for making ladies cards! Once again the sewing theme came in very handy when it came to embellishing. Stitching and safety pins played a major role again for me with these cards, just as they did on my previous layout.

The best thing about this collection is that I know several older ladies that these kind of cards would suit perfectly and quite tickle them actually... it's my mums generation that really did sew all our clothes when I was younger, sitting for hours on end with nanna, they were always making or repairing something!

In any case these cards were again a breeze to put together with all the lovely elements in the collectables pack.

It does make me wonder though...
in 40 years when collections are being released to suit my generation, what will they consist of?

I hate to admit it but I'm thinking it will need to be all credit cards, sale tickets and gift vouchers... we dont really sew any more ... we shop!! LOL
When I think of getting clothes for my kids I think of all the items above plus caring loads of those paper shopper bags about, dockets, coffees to keep me going, and shopping trollies.

I cant wait to see how they will pull off that collection!!! he he he

Great to chatting ... have a awesome day,
Smiles from Kel.

Elegance Cards

Hi all ... I'm here today to share some cards made with the Elegance Collection.

These were a joy to make! The collection actually comes with so many title panels and journaling blocks that I felt spoilt for choice! I decided to stick with the love and romance theme rather than going the 'happy birthday' route again with these cards, and I was really pleased with the results as they turned out a bit 'Elegant' just as the name of the collection would suggest! LOL

The hero here is the massive amount of bling I plastered on the cards to finish with though!
Pearls, rhinestones and a good amount of Kindy Glitz really helped to lift these cards... you probably don't get the full effect in a photo but in real life they shimmer beautifully.

Thanks for stopping by for a look.
Have a great day.

Smiles from Kel.

In The Attic Cards

Oh my Gosh I'm LOVIN this new In The Attic Collection!!
How bright and beautiful are these papers?

Card making was a bit more of  challenge with these papers as there was just so many combinations to choose from. They were a pleasure to work with none the less... with so many iconic elements to play with and loads of quote panels included in the collectables pack.

You can't go wrong these days with anything reto or vintage and this collection certainly delivers those two elements in abundance. I believe anyone who likes this kind of style will have a ball using this collection.

Thanks for stopping by for look.

Lulu And Roy Cards

So here are my cards made from the Lulu and Roy Collection.

I love that this collection can be so feminine and soft and yet have so many blues and bold striking colours in it!!

The cards were very easy to pull together with all the Quote panels that are included in this collection ... and lets face it, you can hardly go wrong with quotes from Marvin Gaye and the Beatles!!! LOL

This collection actually reminds me a lot of may Websters papers that are out there these days with the eclectic collection of flowers peeking in from the edges of pages... what ever formula Kaisercraft are using to come up with these new ranges, it is working... this collection is both beautiful to look at and beautiful to work with!

Flora Delight Cards

Today I'm here to share some cards made from the Flora Delight Collection.

These were impressively easy to put together ... while I can find the Die Cut Collectables difficult to incorporate into a layout, they were simply made for card making!

The collectables made coordinating and nesting so easy. All these cards ended up quite feminine and beautiful yet still bold and bright

For the card makers out there....
I can highly recommend this collection for making some wonderful bright easy cards.

Cheers from Kelly-ann.

75 Cents Cards

Today I have used the 75 cents collection to make up some cards for men. This was sooooo hard for me ... I already miss all my flowers and butterflies!! LOL

I find I feel like my mens cards are a bit empty ... but my husband assures me men prefere it that way?? I'm not entirely convinced of that ... but as it stands I was happy just to work with layers for these cards.

I would entirely embarrass myself if I were to reveal how many cards i now have in my stash ... and not two would be the same either!! Still I cant help myself, the left over papers in the Kaiser craft Paper pad and embellishments after making my layouts just scream out for card making to me!

I'm quite keen to see what others have come up with using this range, so please feel free to leave links to your own projects if you to have made cards using this rich and earthy collection.

Cheers from Kel.

Botanical Odyssey Cards

Toady I have some more of the funky Botanical Odyssey Collection ... these papers were a bit fun to make cards with actually ... you will have to forgive the crappy stamping I've done on these cards though, it's been a while and I think I might have to put more time and effort into perfecting word stamping ... or just give up and use rub-ons from now on! LOL

I'll let you in on a little secret and tell you the real winning combination with Kaisercraft products at the moment (not just with this range but in general) when it comes to card making...  is that nothing can beat how easy it is to use their new square card packs in combination  with the 6.5" paper pad and a pack of collectables!!
These are soooooo easy to put together that it's outrageous! you could easily make 20 cards  ( or more) from one paper pad and still have dozens of collectables left for other projects.
Why not try it?
Grab a paper pad, a pkt of collectables and give it a go ...
how many cards will you get out of this challenge?
Cards ... you can never have enough of them!

Have a great week folks... smiles from Kel

Marigold Cards

Today I have some cards to share with you made from the Marigold Collection ... this is a beautiful flowery collection that is sure to be a fav. of all rose lovers.

These new square cards are once again so easy to work with I found myself really enjoying making all these cards ... what on earth will I do with them all I wonder ... I have a hundred now, even after giving them away and selling many ... perhaps I should slow down!! LOL

All I have used to create these cards are the Collectables from the collection, the paper pad and some white organza ribbon ... easy peasy and affordable.

Thanks for stopping by for a look.
