Fine & Sunny Easter Layout

Well this Easter Layout is just a couple of weeks late but I must confess I had a ball using the fun new 'Fine and Sunny' papers ... they are sooooo cute!! LOL I've also had a good go at the new ribbon roses that Kaisercraft have just released ... they are AWESOME as they add so much dimension to a page yet still sit quite flat in an album ( thats a dream embellishment for me!!)
I was sticking to a classic pyramid design with this page which was something a bit different for me, but I think I like it, so I'll have to give it another go in the future. I love Easter ... probably because I LOVE chocolate!!! LOL Smiles from Kel.

Fine & Sunny Cards

So I'm kicking of my introductions of the new 'Fine & Sunny' collection from Kaisercraft with a card collection. These papers are so bright and fun to play with ... I had no trouble at all nocking up a dozen cards in a few short hours ... it makes ALL the difference to play time when you are REALLY enjoying your toys!! LOL
I've also done stitching on all these cards this time, I think I'm in love with the effect on everything. The cards are pretty simple besides that, just paper from the paper pad and dies from the coordinating collectables pack, dd to that a couple of ribbons and some liquid pearls and there you have it...
Have a great day folks.
Smiles from Kel.

Charoltte's Dream Cards

A few cards made from the lovely Charlotte's Dream Collection ... I just adore all the gloss varnish papers in this collection  especially the paper pad that is packed full of them! Also for the first time ever I actually cracked out the sewing machine and used it on some cards ... sewing just looks on ANYTHING!! LOL

Saturday Sketch #2 April 2012

It's that time of the week again ... Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch!! This week I've used the 'Candy Lane' collection to put together this fun layout of my daughter Lilly enjoying a bit of a tea party with her sisters ... I know there was ment to be a bit white space on this sketch, but I'm allergic to white space so this is about as close to the original sketch as I was able to get LOL! And here is the original sketch...

You can enter any of the Saturday Sketches that Kaisercraft run per month and you will have all month to put any ( or all ) of the layouts together ... click HERE if you would like to see the post for this Sat. Sketch, or click HERE to be taken to their main Blog. Go on give it a go ... smiles from Kel.

Charoltte's Dream Masculine Layout

A bit more of a masculine layout this time, made again from the Charlotte's Dream collection. I must apologise for the poor quality of the photo here, I'm having issues with my camera and am currently negotiating with Nikon for a replacement, still not sure how that will work out, but in the mean time I'm stuck with these sub-standard photos!!
Anyway.... one of my fav. things about this LO is the background ... this is a piece of Gloss Varnish paper made by Kaisercraft and as you can see when you rub ink over the edges the gloss varnish patterns  resist the ink and creates this wonderful verigated colour effect on the normal paper ... it's a fabulous effect!! Smiles from Kel.

Saturday Sketch #1 April 2012

Another Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch ... this time I've used the super cute Lil' Primrose paper collection and some of the gorgeous Kaisercraft gross grain ribbon, there's also a bit of bling in there, but the multiple boarders ment that I didn't really need to do much more embellishing beyond what the sketch suggested. And here is the sketch....

Charoltte's Dream Lay Out

My first Layout made using the beautiful new 'Charlotte's Dream' Collection from Kaisercraft ... how etherel these papers are ... very 'dreamy' indeed. The browns and pinks are perfect for heritage photos, but I was thrilled to see how well my baby photos also looked with this range ... perfect for my dainty little Abby! The collection very much was made to focus on Mothers Day with lots of die-cut words like 'mother', 'love' and 'forever' ... but it was very easy to cut off just enough to turn the word 'Mother' into 'her'! LOL
This collection reminds me a lot of the 'Sweet Nothings' paper range, which also has these divine subtle shades and patterns buried deep in their designs, the two collections will marry together perfectly I image ... that might need to be my next 'challenge'!!?
cheers from Kel.
