Oh my gosh I'm loving this new Pickled Pear Collection ... that has totally taken me by surprise... normally I'm drawn to all the pretty bright things like the Butterfly Kisses Collection , a by product of having 4 gorgeous girls to scrapbook I suppose ... but over the last few weeks of using this collection I've myself completely loving it ... all the beautiful rich earthy colours are just divine.
This is what I love the most about designing with all the kaisercraft collections, it challenges me to work with papers I would not normal be attracted to, and low and behold I find a new favourite in the most unexpected places. LOL
This layout was based on the sketch below ...

I agree totally with you Kell the earthier colours really enable your lovely photos to shine and this layout is no exception. I usually add a touch of black to my layout too no matter what other colours are there as it seems to me to ground it.
