75 Cents Cards

Today I have used the 75 cents collection to make up some cards for men. This was sooooo hard for me ... I already miss all my flowers and butterflies!! LOL

I find I feel like my mens cards are a bit empty ... but my husband assures me men prefere it that way?? I'm not entirely convinced of that ... but as it stands I was happy just to work with layers for these cards.

I would entirely embarrass myself if I were to reveal how many cards i now have in my stash ... and not two would be the same either!! Still I cant help myself, the left over papers in the Kaiser craft Paper pad and embellishments after making my layouts just scream out for card making to me!

I'm quite keen to see what others have come up with using this range, so please feel free to leave links to your own projects if you to have made cards using this rich and earthy collection.

Cheers from Kel.

75 Cents Layout

Today I'm sharing a layout I have made with the 75 Cents Collection. This is a rustic and very shabby chic collection that I'm sure will prove to be extremely popular... all the colours are divine to work with being very cool and neutral for the most part.

In this layout I concentrated on just layering up the papers and adding a few embellies as I went... I was very temped to go further over the top with these, but sometimes simple is better and I think that was the case here.

If you can get your hands on this collection then I definitely recommend you give it a try... it's perfect in particular for any adult photos or vintage shots.

Thanks for stoping by for a look
Cheers from Kel.

Blea & Ivy Layout

My first Layout with Kaisercraft's new collection is all Shabby Chick... The  Blea & Ivy paper collection may have a very strange name, but I like it ... the colours are just beautiful ... I worked them here on this layout with a beautiful remnant of material I had been hanging onto for ages ... I love the striking flowers and the crane, I simply cut the material up and used the images on the page the same as I would paper images! This is a LO inspired by the talented and amazing Gabrielle Pollacco - the Queen of Shabby Chick! I wanted to try some thing a bit different as a  layout of myself is a rare thing indeed!
