Great Southern Land LO

A Layout done using the 'Great Southern Land' Paper collection by Kaisercraft. I tried to make this one very simple as the landscape in the picture is so rich and beautiful ... I enjoyed putting together the cluster of native Australian flowers... this special release collection has so much depth and honesty in the colours of the papers ... it's a wonderful Aussie collection.
Thanks for visiting... smiles from Kel.

Before and After Embellishments

So Above you can see the 'Before' Pictures of my latest Altered Art Projects.... A Balinese CD rack that I picked up cheep at a shop that was shutting down, and a gorgeous white coated metal bird cage that I purchased from 'Massi Mumma'... the best home decore shop in Casino!!
Both of these projects were done in the space of a morning, they are just quick little decorative pieces for my shop ( Although the CD rack is now a very useful tea and coffe station!! LOL).
There truly is nothing you can't do with a hot glue gun!! Add a few flowers from kaisercraft and Manor House Creations and this is what I came up with...

Thanks for looking ... smiles from Kel. xoxo

Secret Bird Society

Well just for something a bit different I thought I would show you a challenge myself and some friends got up to last week ... we were sitting about wondering what to scrapbook and came across a sketch in a magazine that we all thought we might have a go at ... using pretty much the same papers as well, these are the 3 pages we each made ... it was a really fun afternoon of scraping, owing mostly to the fabulous company, but also I just LOVE a good challenge!! My layout above also contained a personal challenge to scrap more than just one photo on a page ... I'm keen to do this more often as I have about a MILLION photos to scrap and will never get there if I keep doing one photo per page!! LOL

Tiny Woods Owls...

I couldn't resist making a couple of BTP projects with the Tiny Woods Collection ... How cute is this Owl above? He is actually almost half a meter tall and is a wall deco! I made him for a dear friend of mine who is nuts about Owls ... but then i couldn't resist going one step further with all the cute little layered Owls and animals in the chipboard pack that came in this collection .... so below you will find one of the Kaisercraft MDF trees done in crackle medium (croco) with a million leaves and embellishments faithfully stuck on with my trusty glue gun! LOL I decided it needed to be practical also so I've stuck some hooks on the trunk and now it's a key keeper. I've had the best time with this range LOL!! Smiles from kel

Tiny Woods Cards

Just a few quick cards made using the Tiny Woods collection again ... all the little animals in this pack are so cute... and unlike most other ranges this one feel gender neutral... these cards could easily be for boys or girls, this is my favourite feature of this collection, I'm sure I'll be making LOADS more cards out of these papers! Cheers from Kel.

Tiny Woods Again...

One more layout using the 'Tiny Woods' collection ... I had a ball stitching everywhere on this page ... the photo, the layers and especially all those plastic green leaves. It's decorated quite simply with some of the die cut collectables and stickers from this collection. I haven't done a page this simple in ages, but I do love it ... this one is all about that gorgeous photo!!
Cheers from Kel.

Tiny Woods Layout

A layout made using the new 'Tiny Woods' paper collection ... oh this is such a cute little paper range, full of trees and owls and little woodlands animals!! he he he. This is the perfect range for boys, but I couldn't resist doing my daughter with her beloved dog ... Abby just loves all kinds of animals often kissing and cuddling them ( weather they like it or not!! LOL )
The die cut collectables are very generous in this pack, full of large lush images of animals and foliage. Bright an fun are the main themes of this collection so it thats your thing, I can highly recommend you try the 'Tiny Woods' paper collection.
Cheers from Kel.
