Summer Breeze Layout

Continuing on with my Summer Breeze Collection adventure today I'm sharing a simple layout I made using the good old serendipity squares technique ... there is brilliant bit of paper in the collection that has these all over it!

This is such a simple technique to use and you can get as involved or keep it as simple as you like... I remember in my early days of scrapbooking with Creative Memories this was a favourite technique of mine.

This bright fun collection is easy to work with and fun to play with ... i especially recommend it if you have loads of girly photos to get through ... this collection is PERFECT for girls!

Thanks for popping on over for a look.
have a great day.

Cheers from Kel.

Hello, I'm back today with this weekends saturday sketch... this time I have used the

This is another fun and bright collection from Kaisercraft that makes scrapping these kinds of photos pure joy! LOL

The bright colours are sooooo easy to layer up as well, working with this collection is plain old FUN.
Although I'm not sure what happened to the butterflies .... how could I possibly forget to butterflies on a layout???? LOL

So here is the sketch it's all based on...

Thanks for stopping by for a look.
Have a great week

Saturday Sketch #1 Sep 2012

For this Sat. Sketch I have given the 'Twig and Berry' Collection another try ... this time I was keen to try my hand at using a Christmas collection to make a non-Christmas page! I'm quite happy with how it all worked out too ... I love the earthy greens in this particular range and couldn't resist leaning towards them when I found this Sketch. It's a great Sketch ... I stuck quite closely to it as I thought that the paper-inside-the-same-paper effect was a brilliant one! The big metal piece on the page was just something I picked up on e-bay one day that I thought looked cool ... I love the hidden treasures that you can find on e-bay! LOL
Thanks for stopping by for a look. Cheers from Kel.

Saturday Sketch #4 August 2012

For this Saturday Sketch I've used the Timeless Collection from Kaisercraft . It is based on this sketch:

This was a GREAT sketch ... I really liked the format! But if the truth were to be told about the REAL inspiration for this layout I would have to confess that I had just been at a Craft Fair where I made 3 exciting purchases ...
The first was the Martha Stauart round the page punch you can see here, the second was the Tim Holtz die cut plate that cut all the flowers and leaf embellishments on this page and the last was a simple tool that makes tying the perfect bow a breeze... so as you can see this whole page was totally driven by my over whelming need to play with my new toys LOL
I LOVE scrapbooking!

Saturday Sketch #3 June 2012

Well for this weeks Saturday Sketch I have hailed back to the bright and beautiful 'Bubblegum Hills' paper collection. It was perfect for these bright and vibrant photos of my husband daughter with Rianbow lorikeets on their heads! Also last week at the craft fair I managed to buy about a dozen very cool masks and as you can see a couple of them got a good work out on this LO ... I love masking with my distress inks!

Magnolia Grove Cards

Here are some cards made from the lovely new 'Magnolia Grove' paper collection... they were so simple to make by just using different back grounds from the paper pad and this wonder bit of paper...

As you can see all I had to do was cut up the 12x12 sheet to get 12 perfect little fronts to my cards ... a few bits and bobs (such as ribbon, flowers and bling) and the cards practically made themselves!! LOL
I love the 6 1/2" square paper pads, they just make cards soooo easy to pull together... and then there are the classic little finishing touches like the Martha Stuart Butterfly Punch ... when I die from too much scrapbooking I want that punch placed in the coffin beside me ... as I simple cannot part with it ...ever!
